Savannah Police investigating shooting that sent one man to the hospital

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of W. 38th St. and Harden St. on August 20, 2025, according to a press release.

The shooting left one adult male with a non-life-threatening injury to the leg.

The release states that at approximately 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the scene based on ShotSpotter reports and immediately began to patrol the area.

The victim was found near the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators with the police department also discovered ballistics damage to property in the area.

According to the press release, no arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
