O.C. Welch offers $5k reward, on top of father’s $5k reward, for information about fatal hit-and-run on Ogeechee Rd.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Stuart Brady was hit and run over by a car at around 1 a.m. on September 29th, and now local business leader O.C. Welch III is offering his own money for answers.

According to a post on Facebook, Welch III made the offer while sharing WTOC’s report after speaking with Stuart’s dad, Thomas.

The crash happened near the intersection of Ogeechee Road and Quacco Road at around 1 a.m. on Monday, September 29.

There’s only one 511GA camera in the area, and it’s aimed directly at the intersection.

Now, Tom has lost his only son.

O.C. Welch III has a long history of offering rewards to help obtain information about local crimes.

Earlier this year, he offered a reward to help find those responsible for the Oglethorpe Mall shooting.
