Missing teen returns home, says the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office

RICEBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 11/5/25] The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office shared a teen that went missing in October, has returned home.

“We are happy to report that Kristian Capers returned home last night and is safe with his family. Thank you to everyone who shared the original post and helped keep our community informed,” wrote the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Kristian Capers.

Kristian was last seen around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at his residence in Riceboro, Georgia.

Officials say the 17-year-old was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Kristian is described as being approximately 5′7″ tall, weighing about 120 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
