Heavy law enforcement presence in Ridgeland, locals asked to avoid the area
RIDGELAND, S.C. (WTOC) - The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting several narcotics-related searches in the Mitchellville area of Ridgeland, the sheriff’s office announced in a social media post.
Residents of the Mitchellville area can expect to see a “significant” amount of law enforcement presence, the JCSO says.
“For your safety and to allow deputies to work efficiently, please avoid the area if possible,” the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office writes. “We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.”
