Guyton woman charged with husband’s murder after his body was discovered
GUYTON, Ga. (WTOC) - An Effingham County woman has been arrested after a man’s body was found in a home in Guyton, according to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO).
Deputies were called out to a home, per the request of Guyton Police, on Pine Street just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators arrested Jennifer Underwood, and charged her with murder of her husband, Johnathan Underwood.
This investigation is ongoing.
Investigators say Underwood faces additional charges that have not been released yet.
