Downed powerlines causing back up in Hinesville near Parkway Plaza
HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - Traffic has been reduced to one lane on EG Miles Parkway near Parkway Plaza in each direction of travel due to downed power lines, according to Hinesville Police Department.
Officers are on scene directing traffic, but drivers should expect delays in the area for the next several hours while Georgia Power works to resolve the issue.
Drivers are asked to use caution going through the area or consider alternate routes if possible.
