ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - One week after the deadly shooting near the CDC and Emory University, pieces are still being put together of the details of what happened.

Dispatch records and scanner traffic, mostly from the Atlanta Police Department since DeKalb’s records are part of an active investigation, paint a picture of what happened that day.

A chaotic scene and high-pressure situation — and it all happened in less than an hour.

David Rose, a DeKalb County police officer, was killed in the shooting.

The suspected shooter, Patrick White, 30, shot and killed himself during the incident.
