First Alert WX Days continue into Sunday! Low pressure will pass to our south into Sunday. Waves of low pressure will move along the front keeping a chance for on and off rain all weekend. This should bring more beneficial rain to our drought stricken area with some areas potentially getting up to 2″. No severe storms expected at this time but an isolated lightning strike is possible. Computer models have been trending drier for our northern areas keeping the best rain chance south of Savannah. A cold front moves through by early Monday. Drier and cooler air returns Monday night. We’ll see lots of sun Tuesday and Wednesday with below average temps. An inland freeze is likely Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
Tonight will be cloudy with a 90% chance for showers through midnight then drier, lows in the upper 40s.
Saturday will be cloudy with a 90% chance for showers, highs in the mid 50s.
Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with an 50% chance for showers, lows in the mid 40s.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with 50% chance for showers especially south of I16, highs in the mid to upper 50s.
