Crash on I-16 EB closes multiple lanes of traffic

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A crash has occurred on I-16 at Chatham Parkway, the Georgia Department of Transportation has reported.

Currently, the two right eastbound lanes of I-16 are blocked. You can see traffic backing up in the top of the GDOT camera below:

WTOC crews have confirmed the crash involved four different vehicles. An ambulance has arrived on the scene.

At the time of writing, GDOT lists 4:45 p.m. as the anticipated end time for this I-16 traffic backup.
