Bicyclist fatally injured in Hwy. 80 crash, says Pooler PD
POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC reached out to the Pooler Police Department for details on a crash Tuesday night.
The crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 80 near Coleman Boulevard.
Police said a trailer and bicyclist were both traveling westbound on Highway 80 when the trailer hit the bicyclist.
The bicyclist sustained fatal injuries.
Pooler Police say they were at the scene until 3:00 a.m. following the crash. The Pooler Police Department’s traffic unit is still investigating.
