‘Major crash’ shut down intersection of 21 and Robert Smalls Pkwy
BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 4:35 p.m. 11/21/2025] First Responders have opened all lanes of traffic at Parris Island Gateway and Robert Smalls Parkway.
[ORIGINAL STORY] There is a major accident at the intersection of SC170/Robert Smalls Pkwy and US21/Parris Island Gateway.
According to the Beaufort Police Department, First Responders are on scene and multiple lanes of traffic have been closed.
Officers are working on getting the roadway open, but the BPD suggests locals and travelers should use an alternative route at this time.
