U.S. 17 Widening Project complete, ribbon cutting scheduled

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (WTOC) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation said they will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion and opening of the U.S. 17/Speedway Boulevard Widening Project.
As of Wednesday, it was a $44 million project.
State and local officials, along with project partners, will join SCDOT Secretary of Transportation Justin Powell to commemorate the roadway reopening on Friday, July 31.
