Statesboro PD says missing man last contacted in March received Uber ride to Savannah in November 2025

STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 5/18/2026] Detectives with the Statesboro Police Department working this case have received information that Wesley Jones obtained an Uber ride from Statesboro to the Old Savannah Mission on Bull Street back in November.

Statesboro PD said they believe, “he may be homeless and living down there.”

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Statesboro Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing individual.

Police said 64-year-old Wesley Jones was last contacted by family in March 2026. “He is homeless and in the past has been seen in the area of Davis Street in Statesboro,” shared Statesboro Police in a social media post.
