Smyrna teen arrested after dismembered body found in tub, warrant says

SMYRNA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An 18-year-old has been taken into custody after police found a woman’s body dismembered at a Smyrna apartment complex on Wednesday night.

Kingston Bradley is facing a felony charge of concealing the death of another. He is being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.

According to the arrest warrant, a witness spotted Bradley carrying a plastic tub through an open area of the Park Valley Apartments along Valley Parkway SE around 8:15 p.m.

When Bradley noticed the witness, he allegedly dropped the container on a dirt walkway and ran into his nearby apartment.

Inside the plastic tub, Smyrna police investigators discovered a dismembered human torso.

According to the warrant, a search of Bradley’s apartment uncovered multiple bloodstains and a large, blood-covered saw. Investigators noted the apartment smelled heavily of bleach and contained a mop, a bucket of water and a carpet cleaner.

The woman’s identity has not been released.

The 18-year-old is now on suicide watch and is being charged with concealing a death.
