Man shot in southside Savannah, police investigating

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) [UPDATE 4:19 P.M.] - Savannah Police are investigating after a man was shot in the city’s southside.

Around 3:20 p.m. Monday, SPD responded to reports of an adult man with a gunshot wound in the 200 block of W. Montgomery Cross Roads.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

SPD is currently investigating the incident. WTOC has a crew on the way to the scene.

A person was found injured in the area of W Montgomery Crossroads and Station Trail, according to Savannah Police.

The condition and identity of the person is currently unknown.
