SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) — Families in the Coastal Empire can head to Daffin Park this weekend for an afternoon of outdoor fun and community resources.

Feed The Hungry is holding its fourth annual Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, offering free admission to the public. Attendees can fish around the pond and enjoy complimentary fried fish, barbecue, music and family activities.

Organizers recommend attendees bring their own fishing rods and lawn chairs.

Ahead of the event, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will stock the Daffin Park pond Friday afternoon, releasing additional fish to prepare for Saturday’s rodeo.
