City of Savannah, partners to provide spaces to stay cool Sunday

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is making facilities available to help residents stay cool Sunday during hot temperatures.
All city community centers, pools, and splashpads are open on Sunday as follows:
Cooling Centers: The following are open 1:00pm – 6:00pm
- Tompkins Center – 2333 Ogeechee Road
Splash Pads: Open 9:00am – 8:00pm
• Victory Heights Park – E. 41st Street
• Avondale Park – 2117 Alabama Avenue
• Ben Van Clark Park – 1202 E Park Avenue
• Hudson Hill Community Center – 202 W. Lathrop Avenue
• Tompkins Community Center – 2333 Ogeechee Road
• Tatemville Community Center – 333 Coleman Street
• Hull Park – 55th Atlantic Avenue
• Forest Hills Park – 4901 Skidaway Road
• Crossroads – 401 W. Montgomery Cross Road
• Crusader Community Center – 81 Coffee Bluff Villa Road
Pools: Open 1:00pm – 6:00pm Free Admission
• Daffin – 1301 E. Victory Drive
• Jenkins Pool – 1800 E. DeRenne Avenue
• Tompkins Center– 2333 Ogeechee Road
