Car struck by lightning in Richmond Hill, driver being taken to hospital

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - The Bryan County Sheriff’s Office reported that a person was taken to the hospital after their car was struck by lightning at the Fish Tales restaurant at the Fort McAllister Marina.
The person’s injuries are unknown at this time.
According to the sheriff’s office, the person was getting out of their vehicle at the time the lightning strike happened at around 4 p.m.
