Car crashes near Waffle House on Ogeechee Road following collision
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A car nearly crashed into a Waffle House Thursday following a collision on Ogeechee Road .
The incident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. and involved a car and a motorcycle.
Chatham County emergency responders were quickly on the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance.
Officials report that there were only minor injuries as a result of the crash.
While the Waffle House building itself was not damaged, the car did crash into a nearby fence, narrowly missing the restaurant.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
