Boys scouts earn merit badge during Jasper County Sheriff’s Office ‘Detective for a Day’
JASPER COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - Two boy scouts helped out Jasper County deputies solve a crime during “Detective for a Day.”
The sheriff’s office said Liam and Atlas earned their forensics adventure achievement merit badge!
This comes after deputies set up a mock crime scene for the kids to give them the chance to do real hands-on investigative work.
The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook saying in part: “Our deputies are always excited to engage with young members of our community and share what it’s like to serve and protect Jasper County.”
