Abercorn street reopens following crash involving pedestrian
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [Update: 10/22 as of 9:13 p.m. ] Abercorn St. has now reopened.
The Savannah Police Department is on the scene of a Wednesday evening crash involving a pedestrian. The incident happened on Abercorn Street between 62nd and 63rd Streets.
SPD says southbound Abercorn Street is closed due to an accident between 62nd and 63rd Street. East/West lanes are also closed at 63rd Street.
Drivers should seek an alternate route.
Law enforcement on scene says a person was struck by a car, and that person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
