One person dead after Sunday night crash in Jasper County

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - One person has died following a single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Jasper County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:31 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 on S.C. 336 at Swift Horse Road. Troopers said a 2013 Honda Civic was traveling east on S.C. 336 when it ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
Both occupants of the car were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. Highway Patrol said one of them later died from their injuries.
No other vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
