SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham County School System announced that Christopher Frazier has stepped down as the head coach of the Windsor Forest High School football team due to personal reasons.

The school system said Coach Frazier told them he was stepping down after school last Thursday.

“Windsor Forest would like to thank Coach Frazier for his time coaching the Windsor Forest football team,” wrote SCCPSS in a press release.

He lasted just one full season with the Knights going 3-7 in 2024.

This comes ahead of their region home opener Friday versus Beach High School.

They are currently 1-1.

What’s next? Windsor Forest Athletic Director Cam Turner will take over head coach responsibilities. Maurice Mack is set to look over practice and game preparation for the team, while also running defense. Offensive Coordinator Zane Rowland will be taking over offensive game prep and play calling for the time being.

The school system said Coach Frazier will continue working at the high school.
