UPDATE: Body found near Highway 17 and Chatham Parkway, police investigating
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 3:06 p.m. 12/2/2025] The Chatham County Police Department is continuing to investigate after a body was found in a wooded area off Chatham Parkway Monday, according to a media release WTOC just received.
The CCPD says that just before noon on Monday, December 1, 2025, Chatham County Police Department officers were dispatched to an area off Chatham Parkway near Ogeechee Road when the body of an adult male was found by a passerby.
A positive identification and cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, which officials say is scheduled for later this week.
