People: Minimize time outside, prepare for power outages, and check on vulnerable neighbors and family members.
Pets: Keep pets warm, make sure food and water do not freeze, and limit time outside.
Pipes: Insulate pipes when possible, disconnect outdoor hoses and turn off sprinkler systems.
Plants: Know temperature thresholds and cover plants to help retain heat.
