Top Ladies of Distinction host breast cancer awareness luncheon
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Top Ladies of Distinction Savannah Chapter hosted their annual breast cancer awareness luncheon Sunday with the theme “Give Cancer the Boot.”
WTOC’s Dawn Baker emceed the event, where survivors and supporters gathered to model shoes and cowboy hats. The luncheon also featured a silent auction to raise funds for cancer research.
“Each year we host a luncheon for breast cancer awareness, making individuals aware of the cause and the cure,” said Deborah Adams, chairperson for the breast cancer luncheon. “We fight for cancer and this year our theme is ‘giving cancer the boot.’”
Donations can be made by contacting anyone from the chapter.
