Toombs Co. Sheriff’s Office warns of new scam tactic
LYONS, Ga. (WTOC) - The Toombs County Sheriff’s Office is warning locals of a new scam tactic.
In a social media post, the Sheriff’s Office says that scammers are now using Captain Chris Clark’s name in “various types of phone scams.”
WTOC has reported extensively on the various scams in our area which have been cropping up lately, as you can see below.
If you received a call from Captain Chris Clark, the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office asks for you to please call (912) 526-6778 to verify the validity of the call.
