Suspect in Oglethorpe Mall shooting found hiding in closet by Screven County Sheriff’s Office
SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE as of 7/19/2025]: 20-year-old Theron Robbins was found and apprehended by the Screven County Sheriff’s Office Saturday night.
The sheriff’s office said, acting on a tip, they found the 20-year-old hiding in a closet in the Redfield Road area of Screven County.
He is wanted by the Savannah Police Department on active warrants for aggravated assault and murder in connection with a shooting at Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah.

[ORIGINAL STORY]: A new suspect is wanted in connection with the July 2 Oglethorpe Mall shooting.
The Savannah Police Department is attempting to locate Theron Robbins, 19, and is asking for help in a social media post.
According to the police, Robbins is 5’9 and weighs around 220 lbs.
