Savannah’s Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival returns
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah’s Shalom Y’all Jewish Food Festival returned to Monterey Square Sunday.
Thousands gathered to celebrate Jewish food, music and culture.
The festival started at 11 a.m. and ran until 4 p.m.
“It’s an annual event and we do it for the community so they can enjoy Jewish foods and learn about Jewish culture. We have a kids zone, we have many of the Jewish organizations represented and we’re really grateful to the city for allowing us to be here,” said Executive Director of Congregation Mickve Israel, Bob Greenberg.
Food lovers can sample blintzes, New York deli sandwiches and black-and-white cookies. Plant-based and gluten-free dishes are also available.
