Savannah man arrested for multiple child sex crimes
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Savannah man was arrested for multiple child sex crimes Sunday.
Jail records reveal 33-year-old Joshua Morgan Mcnear was arrested on August 3rd by Savannah Police.
He’s facing charges of aggravated sodomy (commit sodomy with force against person’s will or person less than 10 years old), statutory rape, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, unawful poss/sell/manuf/dist with intent to distribute more than 20 ounces but less than 160 ounces of THC oil.
He’s being held on no bond while he awaits a first appearance.

Jail records show he is no stranger to law enforcement. McNear was arrested for violating his probation in 2018.
That comes after a major arrest in 2014, where he faced 9 drug-related charges. Including trafficking over 28 grams of cocaine, participation in criminal gang activity, and sale of a controlled substance.
However, his arrest records in Chatham County go back to 2009.
