Savannah fugitive wanted for armed robbery, home invasion arrested in Jasper County
JASPER COUNTY, SC. (WTOC) - The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a wanted fugitive from Savannah, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
They say Kelvin Waye was arrested after a traffic stop in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Waye was wanted on armed robbery and home invasion charges after a violent January attack where two men are accused of posing as Amazon workers, before breaking their way into a home on Price Street and beating the homeowner.
Waye was indicted for that attack last month.
He is now awaiting extradition back to Georgia.
