Savannah State’s new president outlines bold vision in 100-Day address
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah State University’s new president is outlining the future of the school.
Thursday, President Jermaine Whirl outlined new projects and goals during his 100-day address.
Long-term projects included a health and wellness center, a boardwalk overlooking the marsh and a future north campus.
The president also said SSU is moving toward becoming a top 25 HBCU.
And the school is aiming for 6,000 students by the year 2030.
