Savannah Bananas and Firefighters take over Dunkin’ Donuts
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Earlier today, The Savannah Bananas and the Firefighter’s took over the Dunkin Donuts at 5921 Ogeechee Road to connect with the community before tonight’s game.
Players took orders, met fans, signed autographs, took pictures, and surprised kids from Camp Sunshine with tickets to tonight’s game!
We spoke with one player who just joined the Firefighters this year. He says the event was a great way to connect with fans, and engage with the community, adding that it feels even more special, with this being his first year on the team.
“It’s even better, especially when you go to a game and you recognize somebody that was at a Dunkin’ appearance or pregame, and then just build a connection with that”, said Ga’von Wray.
This was the team’s last player appearance at a Dunkin’ for this season.
