Rapper Rod Wave arrested in Atlanta on drugs, weapons charges, jail records say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Rapper Rod Wave is behind bars in Fulton County after he was arrested in Atlanta Friday night.
According to jail records, the rapper, whose real name is Rodarius Green, was arrested by Atlanta Police and is facing charges of:
- Possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies
- Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
- Reckless driving
- VGCSA - Possession of a Schedule V controlled substance
The rapper had his first appearance in court Saturday morning, where a bond was set for him at $8,000.
Back in May, Wave turned himself in to authorities on warrants for more than a dozen charges stemming from an April 21 police call in the Milton suburb of Atlanta.
