One dead in three-vehicle collision in Jasper County
JASPER COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) -One person has died after a three-vehicle collision Friday night on SC-462 near Snake Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. and involved a 2024 Ford F-150, a 2016 Jeep Compass, and a 2024 Jeep Cherokee, said Sergeant Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was killed in the collision. The Jasper County Coroner’s Office will release information about the deceased.
According to the SC Coroner, 25-year-old Mrs. Keeley Hall, of Ridgeland, passed at the scene.
All other occupants of the cars were taken to local area hospitals.
The Ford F-150 was traveling north on SC-462 while the Jeep Compass and Jeep Cherokee were both traveling south on SC-462 when all three vehicles collided, Tidwell said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
