New SNL cast includes Savannah native, Please Don’t Destroy star Ben Marshall
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - When Saturday Night Live kicks off its Season 51 premiere in just a few weeks, five new Featured Players will take the stage, and one of them hails from right here in Savannah.
Ben Marshall, a Savannah native, is officially joining the cast.
Marshall first joined SNL in 2021 as part of the writing staff.
That same year, he quickly found his way on-screen as one-third of the comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy, whose viral Digital Shorts have become a fan favorite since their debut in Season 47 with “Hard Seltzer.”
Beyond SNL, Marshall has also appeared outside of sketch comedy, landing a guest role in Season 2 of Peacock’s hit mystery series Poker Face.
The new season is set to premiere on Oct. 4, 2025.
