Multiple Georgia Lottery winners in the WTOC viewing area this week
POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - A resident of Pooler won $50,000 and a ticket purchased in Brunswick cleared $30,000, according to last week’s lottery report from the Georgia Lottery.
The $50,000 Powerball winner in Pooler purchased their ticket using the Georgia Lotter Mobile app and matched four of the five white ball numbers, plus the Powerball.
The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for July 28, with an estimated jackpot of $364 million.
The $30,000 winning Mega Millions ticket in Brunswick was purchased at Fine Food Mart, 2006 Parkwood Drive.
That ticked matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball, with a built-in 3X multiplier tripling the prize from $10,000 to $30,000.
Another ticket, sold at Circle K, 5919 Miller Road in Columbus, won $20,000 after matching the same numbers with a 2X multiplier.
The highest-winning ticket of the week was purchased at Dallas Neighborhood Food Mart, 320 West Memorial Drive in Dallas, Georgia.
That ticket matched all five numbers (03-07-11-22-26) and won $308,474.
Proceeds from Fantasy 5, Powerball, and Mega Millions, along with all Georgia Lottery games, benefit education in the state of Georgia.
