Multi-agency investigation leads to arrest in string of armed robberies
HAMPTON, S.C. (WTOC) - One man has been arrested and charged by the Hampton Police Department for multiple armed robberies over the past few months.
According to a media release sent to WTOC from the Hampton Police Department, this arrest follows a multi-agency investigation into a series of armed robberies across multiple jurisdictions.
The release states that investigators from the Hampton Police Department, the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office took the suspect without incident on December 4, 2025, in Allendale County.
The suspect, 30-year-old Aaron Davon Bush is facing charges of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, and Possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime by Hampton Police and other surrounding agencies.

The Hampton PD says Bush is charged for the Armed Robberies of a Dollar General on September 9, 2025, and a Family Dollar on November 9, 2025.
Bush is currently being held at the Allendale County Detention Center.
