Man pleads guilty to setting Richmond Hill house fire with wife, kids inside

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - A man accused of setting fire to a Richmond Hill home with his wife and two children inside, pleads guilty to his crimes.

Bryan County Superior Court records show 42-year-old Jeffrey Enfinger pleaded guilty to first degree felony arson and felony making false statements.

According to arrest warrants, on June 24th, Enfinger is accused of damaging a home by fire on Egret Circle in Richmond Hill. The warrant claims Enfinger set the fire in the attic while his wife and two children were inside the home.

Under the plea agreement, Enfinger was sentenced to eight years with the first three months behind bars and the remaining seven years on probation. Additionally, he must pay back more than $66,000 to state farm claims.
