Local coffee spot offers free meals for SNAP receipts, no questions asked
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - If you or someone you know struggles to afford a meal, Origin Coffee Bar on MLK Jr. Boulevard is stepping in to help.
The coffee shop is offering free meals for SNAP receipts, no questions asked. Customers just place their order and let the cashier know it’s a SNAP meal.
If you’d like to help, you can add funds to an in-store gift card or donate digitally to their Venmo. 100% of these donations go toward feeding our community.
Earlier Saturday, they were also selling flowers from Sweet Field Flowers, all proceeds helped contribute to those free meals.
