Internet service down at all SCCPSS district facilities
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Internet service is down at all Savannah-Chatham County Public School System district facilities at this time due to a suspected fiber cut in the area, according to a press release WTOC just received.
Internet service is expected to be down the rest of the day – affecting web service and email throughout the district’s schools and offices.
Phone service to SCCPSS facilities, however, is fully functional. Anyone needing to reach a district school or office should call at this time rather than email.
SCCPSS wants to assure parents that teaching and learning continues and school remains on regular schedules. Technicians are working with their internet service provider to monitor the situation and ensure the network returns to full functionality as soon as possible.
