Hinesville man wanted for kidnapping, terroristic threats, and battery
HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - The Hinesville Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating Gene Elery Rhodes, a resident of Hinesville.
According to a social media post from the police department, Rhodes has been identified as a suspect in “disturbing video circulating on social media showing a male intimidating a visibly terrified female, forcing her to say certain things on camera while she is clearly suffering from a bloodied mouth and nose.”
Rhodes is wanted on the following charges:
- Kidnapping
- Terroristic Threats
- Battery
The Hinesville Police Department is actively searching for Rhodes in order to take him into custody.
