The arrest report in his case says Hinesville Police’s Criminal Investigations Division responded to the 900 block of Berkshire Terrace on September 5th.

His wife was also there when police arrived around 2 p.m. that day. Records from Hinesville PD say they were responding initially to ‘an unresponsive 3-month-old boy’.

When officers arrived, they began CPR. A short time later, Liberty County EMS arrived on scene and continued life-saving procedures.

The child later passed away.

Cunning was arrested 13 days later, on September 18th, by Hinesville PD.

Fast forward to October 7th, and Cunning was granted a bond, according to court documents.

His conditions include reporting to the courts every 2 weeks until his final disposition. He also needs to notify their office of any job, address, or phone number changes. This includes any orders to PCS through the military.

He is not allowed to leave the state of Georgia.

Cunning’s mother and brother have publicly denied any of these allegations.

There’s not a next court date listed in his case yet.

We will continue to follow this case as more updates become available.
