Domestic shooting on E. Anderson Street sends one woman to hospital as shooter flees scene
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 3:27 p.m. 8/8/2025] The Savannah Police Department is investigating a domestic shooting that left one adult woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to a press release.
Police say officers arrived at the 300 block of E. Anderson St. around 9:05 p.m. based on reports of a shooting.
They say the victim, an adult female, had been “injured following a domestic altercation in which the shooter had fled.”
The woman was treated and transported to Memorial Health.
The report states that, after an initial investigation, Savannah Police Department investigators secured a warrant for the arrest of 24-year-old Tibias Alston in connection with the shooting.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information related to the incident is being asked to contact CrimeStoppers at the number below.
[UPDATE 10:20 p.m. 8/7/2025] Savannah Police are on scene of a domestic shooting on the 300 block of East Anderson Street.
The shooting has resulting in one woman being shot in the leg. She is expected to recover.
