Dave Turley’s First Alert Weather forecast for Wednesday, October 8, 2025
A coastal trough continues through early today. We have First Alert WX Days Thursday through Saturday due to the elevated tides. Coastal flooding begins around 9.5′. We’ll see tides up to 10.4′ Friday morning. A cold front moves in overnight into Thursday morning with a slight chance for showers and storms. We dry out Thursday afternoon into Friday. The front slowly moves south into Friday. It will bring in much cooler and drier air for the weekend. Highs in the mid to upper 70s with inland lows in the 50s. Low pressure is forecast to develop along the stalled front off the southeast coast. This will try to bring some showers to mainly the coastal areas Friday night into Saturday morning before moving towards North Carolina. Right now computer models keep it far enough away to have little impacts but we’ll be watching.
