We have First Alert WX Day Saturday due to the elevated tides. Coastal flooding begins around 9.5′. We’ll see tides up 9.8′ Saturday morning. Lots of clouds with on and off showers through Sunday. Winds may gust to 35 mph especially along the coast. Low pressure is forecast to develop along the stalled front off the southeast coast. This will keep a for some showers through Monday morning before moving towards North Carolina. High surf and rip current risk and Gale Warnings. High pressure builds in Monday night into Wednesday with sunshine and great Fall weather.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a 70% chance for showers, lows in the low 60s.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with a 50% chance for showers, highs in the low 70s.

Coastal Waters Forecast: GALE WARNING in effect through Saturday evening. Saturday: N winds at 25-30 kt. Seas: 7-8 ft building to 6-8 ft after midnight. Sunday: N winds at 20-25 kt diminishing to 15-20 kt in the afternoon. Seas: 6-8 ft subsiding to 5-7 in the afternoon.
Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical Storm Jerry is located just north of the northern Leeward Islands. The forecast calls for this system to turn north tonight and then northeast, keeping week away from the US. Subtropical Storm Karen is located over the northeastern Atlantic. Karen is forecast to become post-tropical by Saturday and is no threat to land.
