High pressure continues to bring us very nice weather as we start September. Low pressure continues to move away from the area today. This will keep us a little breezy especially along the coast. A weak cold front approaches Friday but dissipates before moving through. This will allow temps to warm back into the 90s Friday through Sunday. Another cold front is forecast to moves through Sunday and stall to our south into Wednesday. This will bring a return for showers and possible storms each day. Cooler temps return Monday with highs only in the low to mid 80s most of the week.

Today will be mostly sunny, highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Tonight will be mostly clear, lows in the mid 60s.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, highs near 90.

Thursday night will be mostly clear, lows in the upper 60s.

Friday will be mostly sunny, highs in the low 90s.

Friday night will be mostly clear, lows near 70.

Saturday will be partly cloudy, highs in the low to mid 90s.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy, lows in the low 70s.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles west-southwest over the Cabo Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and storms. There is a 70% chance for tropical development over the next 7 days as the wave moves west to west-northwestward.
