High pressure continues to bring us very nice weather as we start September. Low pressure along a stationary front remains well to our south before pulling away Wednesday. This will keep us a little breezy especially along the coast. An isolated mainly coastal shower is possible Wednesday and Thursday but most areas should remain dry. A weak cold front approaches Friday but dissipates before moving through. This will allow temps to warm back into the 90s Friday and keep our rain chances low. Another cold front is forecast to moves through Sunday. This will bring our best chance for showers and possible storms Sunday. Cooler and drier air returns Monday with highs only in the low to mid 80s most of the week.

Tonight will be clear, lows in the mid 60s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

Tuesday night will be mostly clear, lows in the mid 60s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a 10% chance for showers and storms, highs in the upper 80s.

Wednesday night will be clear, lows in the mid 60s.

Thursday will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and storms, highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and storms, lows near 70.

Friday will be partly cloudy with a 10% chance for showers and storms, highs in the low 90s.

Friday night will be mostly clear, lows in the low 70s.

Saturday will be partly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and storms, highs in the low 90s.

A tropical wave located over the far eastern Atlantic is producing disorganized showers and storms. There is a 40% chance for tropical development over the next 7 days as the wave moves west to west-northwestward.
