Coroner’s office confirms identity of human remains found in Beaufort County
PORT ROYAL, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of Isaac Bussey, a 79-year-old male from Seabrook.
Bussey was reported missing to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office on the night of November 21, 2025.
On November 22, WTOC brought you the update that human remains believed to belong to Bussey were located by law enforcement officials.
According to the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office, Mr. Bussey died on November 21, 2025, on scene at Paige Point Landing, as a result of drowning.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is the investigating police agency in this incident.
