Chatham, Effingham lottery winners total over $250,000 last week
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Lottery drawing results are in, and once again multiple people in WTOC’s coverage area won big money last week.
In Savannah, one resident purchased a Powerball ticket on the Georgia Lottery website and won $50,000 by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for August 4, with an estimated jackpot of $426 million.
In Rincon, a Fantasy 5 ticket purchased at the Ebenezer Chevron at 115 Ebenezer Road won $105,299.
Additionally, a Guyton resident using the Georgia Lottery mobile app also won $105,299 in the same Fantasy 5 drawing.
Other winners of the Fantasy 5 last week include two tickets totaling $62,500 each in Macon and College Park, and a $1,000,000 ticket purchased at Shell Food Mart in Decatur, GA.
As with all Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball, Fantasy 5, and Diggi Games benefit education in the state of Georgia.
